A sunny corner of the property going unused - a blank patch of ground with potential to feed the household.
A sunny corner of the property was going unused. The family wanted to grow their own herbs, vegetables and fruit, but didn't know what would thrive in Hyderabad's heat or how to keep it productive through the year.
We designed raised beds and trellises for vertical growing, selected heat-tolerant edible species - tomatoes, chillies, herbs, leafy greens and citrus - and built a simple drip irrigation system. A stone path was laid for easy access, and fragrant herbs were placed closest to the kitchen door.
A productive garden that feeds the family through the seasons - and that turned an unused corner into the most visited part of the property.
Move the handle to reveal how nature transformed this space - the moment green enters and a place begins to breathe.

"We haven't bought herbs in months. The kids pick tomatoes on their way inside, and somehow the garden made cooking at home feel different."
